Who are www.classiclampbars.co.uk?
This is a B2C internet domain name of Classic Accessories UK, a small manufacturing/engineering fabricator based in rural Norfolk, England.
Why would I choose to buy from you?
Our owner has over 30 years experience in the field of manufactured tubular products. The lamp bars are produced to high standards and are available at competitive prices as we sell direct.
What do you mean by high standards?
We are referring to the use of top quality tube, hand brazed joints, polishing and chromium plating to BS quality and environmental standards.
Can I fit the lamp bar myself?
Yes the lamp bar can be installed by any competent person. It is the owners responsibility to ensure the bar is correctly fitted with the lamps aligned and safely wired.
Can I place an order over the telephone?
We no longer accept orders over the telephone as it is more secure to conduct transactions online by either using Stripe for a card payment, or by using a direct bank transfer.
How can I pay for my lamp bar?
We accept payments by credit or debit card using the Stripe as the financial intermediary. We can also accept payments by direct bank transfer using BACS or "fast payments" in the UK, or by using our BIC and IBAN details overseas. We can now also accept instant payments made via the Paym system in the UK. Please contact us for our account and mobile number. We can also accept payment by a cheque drawn in GBP Sterling. Please note we will usually dispatch your lamp bar within 1 working day if payment is made by card or by a "fast payment". Payments made by cheque will usually require a clearance period of at least 3 working days before we can dispatch your lamp bar. Please do not send cash.
Will you ship to a different address to which the payment card is registered to?
When paying by card, we can only ship to the registered cardholders billing address. If you wish to have the lamp bar delivered to a different address, you will need to pay by an alternative method such as a direct bank transfer.
Will I know when my lamp bar is going to be delivered?
We work closely with our carriers and we can usually tell you on which day the bar is going to be delivered. We can also provide tracking details and an email or text alert if required.
Can I return the luggage rack should I change my mind?
Yes, you have 14 days from the day of delivery to return the lamp bar. We suggest that you email us and we will acknowledge this by return email. You are expected to return the bar to us in 'as new' condition, with all fittings and components. We will arrange a refund of the original purchase price plus the outgoing shipping. We do not refund the return shipping unless the lamp bar is faulty. This is in accordance with the EU Consumer Contract Regulations 2013.
